Running of the Bears 5K Walk/Run
Saturday, October 31, 7 AM (Race begins)
Pre-register or from 6-7 AM on race day
Stretch your muscles, tie your laces and meet at the Bear in front of Plaster Student Union. Participants receive t-shirts and goodie bags. Medals go to first, second and third place male and female finishers in each age category — overall male and female win $50 cash prize.

MAROONTASTIC HOMECOMING PARADE
Saturday, October 31, 9 AM
Stepping off at the corner of John Q. Hammons Parkway and St. Louis Street, this maroon and white adventure will trek southward through campus. Bear Pride will swell a mile high as floats, decorated cars and bands display the most “Go Bears” spirit you have ever seen!  If you happen to be near JQH Arena, you are invited to step inside and take a look around. (Restrooms will be open.)

BEARFEST VILLAGE EXTRAVAGANZA
Saturday, October 31, 9 AM – 1 PM
Parking Lots No. 22 and 24 (south of Plaster Sports Complex, adjacent to Grand Street)
Enjoy food, games and music while Boomer, the Pride Band, Cheerleaders and Sugar Bears perform to the nth degree. Halloween costumed kids can visit designated Trick or Treat stations. Visit the Alumni Association MarooNation Hospitality Tent for a free Missouri State button, balloons, Bear tattoos, and pom poms for the kids. The official Trick or Treat starting point – pick up treat bags here.
Free. Open to the public.

Alumni and friends are invited to gather at their respective college tents to reunite with friends and professors.
