Sustainability efforts recognized by National Wildlife Federation
Missouri State University was honored by the National Wildlife Federation (NWF) and recognized for its initiatives to champion sustainability. Based on a nationwide survey of more than 1,060 institutions, Missouri State is one of 334 to be featured in the NWF’s 2008 National Report Card on Sustainability in Higher Education for having exemplary programs or having a strong commitment to “do more.” Read more...

Family connection has rewards for non-Missouri residents
Cut-of-state tuition fees waived for children and grandchildren of Missouri State graduates
Now families living outside the state of Missouri can make becoming a Missouri State graduate a real family affair in an affordable fashion. The Continue the Tradition program allows full-time, non-Missouri residents to pay the same tuition as Missouri residents.

Bill Rowe to retire as Missouri State director of athleticsBill Rowe
The individual synonymous with Missouri State University’s intercollegiate athletics program for more than a quarter-century is retiring. Bill Rowe announced that in June 2009 he will step down as director of athletics, a position he has held since 1982. Including his time as a student and then as a coach, Rowe has been associated with the university for more than 50 years. Read more…
