Student receives Marsh W. White Award for project
Jacob Swett, a senior from Raymore, Missouri, and current president of the Missouri State University chapter of the Society of Physics Students, received the Marsh W. White award for his project to build a Ruben's tube. This proposal won him the 2008-09 award. A Ruben's tube is a physics experiment that shows the relationship between sound waves and air pressure. Missouri State University's Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) program was recently granted reaccreditation from the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) for 10 years, the maximum allowed. Read more...
