Nearly 300 guests attended the Missouri State University Alumni & Friends Annual Spring Barbeque at the West Plains Civic Center on May 7. The program for the Mardi Gras themed event included musical entertainment by Jerry Hoover and the Trombone Kings, social time, a barbeque dinner and prize drawings. Christena Silvey Coleman, ’92 was recognized as the 2009 Distinguished Alumni Award Recipient.
