Fans of all ages are invited to join Boomer, the spirit squads and fellow Bears at BearFest Village!

BearFest Village hosts gatherings organized by student organizations and University departments, as well as games, music, food and more.


BearFest Village is located north of Plaster Stadium in the grass plaza in front of McDonald Arena, extending from Carrington Hall in the east to Hammons Fountains and beyond in the west.

MarooNation Alumni tent

Missouri State graduates and friends are invited to visit the Alumni Association's MarooNation tent. Enjoy a hot dog, compliments of the Alumni Association, photo booth, cash bar (beer and soda only), and more.

Food and drinks

Guests are invited to bring their own food or purchase food from one of the many vendors in the Village. 

Approved alcoholic beverages at BearFest Village include beer, wine, wine coolers and other malt beverages. Patrons must be 21 years or older to consume alcoholic beverages, and hard liquor is prohibited. (Alcohol Policy).

Reserving space

Alumni and community groups may reserve tailgating space in BearFest Village by contacting Missouri State Sports Properties at 417-836-5001 or by printing out and completing the public tailgate package order form.

Individual vehicle tailgating

If your group or organization would like to tailgate but does not want to reserve space in BearFest Village, you are welcome to tailgate in parking lots 18 or 24 south of Grand Street.

General tailgating spaces are available on a first come, first serve basis. Advance reservations are not required and no fees are required.

Tailgating begins three hours before kickoff and ends at kickoff.

Alcohol possession and consumption is allowed in these lots, but must adhere to the University Alcohol Policy.
