Chapters and Groups
Connect with other Bears
Standing more than 150,000 strong, we are Bears for life, and our alumni chapters
and groups are an integral part of what bonds Missouri State across the globe. Missouri
State is actively recruiting alumni chapter leaders to grow the Bear network and provide
valuable connections.
The Bear network serves as a support system and resource for local alumni, friends
and students. Our alumni chapters bring together alumni and friends in their local
communities for meaningful programs, networking events, community service projects
and to cheer on the Bears!
The Black Alumni Network at Missouri State is a dynamic and inclusive community that
brings together alumni and friends who identify with the Black experience.
SAA promotes an awareness of alumni programs while students are on campus and encourages
their loyalty to Missouri State after graduation.
Travel the world in company of fellow Bears.
Our proud tradition of volunteerism brings alumni together to serve and make a real
impact in the communities where we live and work.

Mission and values
Our mission
Alumni Chapters support the mission of the Missouri State University Alumni Association
by creating opportunities for lasting engagement between alumni and the university
in their chapter region.
Our values
Alumni Chapters are responsible for providing a connection between the university
and regional alumni and friends. This is accomplished by hosting Chapter events, supporting
university initiatives, and organizing service projects that inspire alumni to participate
and engage with their alma mater.
